Opening of the new facilities
After just over 6 months of hard work by both the CHT Building Solutions and members the construction was ready for the formal opening. The project almost doubles the size of the clubroom and includes new kitchen and toilets. 100 yard range firing point depth doubled and toilet added. A new 10 metre 10 firing point air range added. All have facilities for the disabled.
Sunday June 7 saw Mick Gault, the most successful UK Air Pistol shot, cut the ribbon and fired the first shot to mark the formal outing. This was followed by a mini Air Pistol and Air Rifle competition. This saw current British Air Pistol Champion, Adrian Syms coming second to this years British Championship runner up but many times winner in previous years.
Members and Guests were treated to a magnificent spread of refreshments.
The event was captured by Ken Lefevre below.
